Eating Fruits on an Empty Stomach

So you sit down at the dinner table and a plate of fruit is served..... has anyone ever experienced that before?? Fruit before dinner??



As for myself, I've always had dinner followed by a fruit.  But after reading many many emails forwarded to me about eating fruit before meal, I think i might have to start changing my diet around.


Pros:

- natural healing of the body, can help aid cancer!
- helps detoxify the body, giving you more energy and promotes higher metabolism
- its even suppose to help with clearing of the skin, balding, dark circles, anxiety!!

So if you eat a sandwich and then an orange, the sandwich will sit in your stomach and your fruit is being blocked to move pass the stomach and into the intestines.  While your sandwich is just chilling and fermenting in your stomach, so is your fruit, and mixing the acids produced will cause gas and bloating.

What fruit is good for what??  Read below!

Apple  - low in VIT C, but has antioxidents and falconoid  which enhances activity of VIT C
            - lower risk of colon cancer, heart attack and stroke

Kiwi  - tiny but high source of potassium, magnesium, VIT E, and fiber
          - VIT C content double of an orange

Strawberry  - protective fruit, highest antioxident power compared to all fruits
                   - protects body from cancer causing, vessel clogging free radicals

Watermelon - 92% water, coolest thirst quenching fruit
                     - packed with a giant dose of glutathione, helping to boost our immune system
                     - VIT C, potassium, and key source of lycopene (to fight cancer)

Orange - eat 2-4 a day, keeps the cold away
             - lowers cholesterol
             - prevent and dissolve kidney stones
             - reduce risk of colon cancer

Guave + Papaya - highest content of VIT C
                           - rich in fiber, preventing constipation
                           - papaya rich in carotene- good for the eyes

(I remember when I was in Hawaii, the tour guide told me half a papaya is equal to 12 apples for its VIT C content... 12!!!)

Remember, when consuming fruit, eating a whole fruit is better then drinking the juice
when you drink the juice make sure its fresh, not canned juice
cooked fruit only tastes good, but no nutrients at all, its been cooked out of it

So when you don't know what to get someone for their birthdays or special occasions??? FRUIT ARRANGEMENT!! (with instructions on when and how to eat lol).  So cute
